Muriel Hurtis is a high-level athlete. She became 4×100 metres relay world champion in 2003, and holds the French record for the 4×100 m. Today, Muriel is committed to well-being and self-transcendence on a daily basis. As an Espace mom® ambassador, she shares 3 tips for staying in shape.

Tip 1: take it one step at a time
Set small easily achievable goals every day. There’s no need to try and reach the top immediately, because you risk getting discouraged. And the satisfaction you feel when reaching your goal is a fantastic boost!

Tip 2: be kind to yourself
Even the greatest sportsmen and women must sometimes step out of their comfort zone and face new or stressful situations. After being a sprinter all my life, I had to slow down and learn to run a 10K. I welcomed this transition with a smile, and my body adapted very quickly because you’re able to move forward when you surround yourself with positive energy.

Tip 3: take time for yourself
We tend to neglect ourselves – especially women –, and we may feel that this is a superficial need. However a good training session, an energy treatment or a detox break during the day can help us be more efficient and focused in the long term. So remember the value of self-care!

Muriel’s testimonial on Espace mom® natural anti-wave solutions:
“As a former athlete and still a sportswoman, I have seen the beneficial effects of mom® solutions not only on performance and recovery but also on pain reduction! Since I have been wearing the necklace, pain on my Achilles has almost disappeared, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the device is also very effective in relieving menstrual pain.”
